Died in hospital
The remains of Pte Norman Macleod, son of Mr Donald Macleod, blacksmith, Callanish, were laid to rest in the cemetery there last week. While in France, he contracted a chest trouble, to which he succumbed in a hospital in England. He was 21 years of age, and was a young man of abnormal height.
