His relatives have been informed that John Macrae, RNR, son of the late John Macrae, 21 Sheshader, was killed about a fortnight ago. John, who was 31 years of age, was as a young lad deprived of both mother and father, and being the eldest, bravely undertook the care of his younger siblings, who now mourn the early death of their loving and devoted brother.
