Stornoway Gazette
Mrs Kenneth Macleod, South Shawbost, received official intimation that
her only brother, Sergt. Kenneth Murray, Gordon Highlanders, has been
killed in action in France. Kenneth was a student of the Nicolson
Institute some years ago and was a great favourite with all his friends.
His death came as a shock to all and cast a gloom over the village.
Much sympathy is felt for the family.
