Cumha do Mhurchadh MacLeoid a Cnoc an t-Soluis, sgir Bhac, a thuit 'san arfhaich air a chiad la de 'n t-seachdeamh mice, 1916

Tha mi duilich, 'sinn tha duilich
Tha sinn duilich ma na cairdean;
Ach ged' tha sinn uile duilich,
'S e tha muladach a mhathair.

'N ioghnadh leat gu bheil duilich

Ach tha gealladh dhath s'an Fhairinn

Gun deach "Murchadh BGeag" a chasgradh

Ach tha e cruaidh air fuil 's air feoil,
Mur dean comhnadh mor-ghrais e,

Mar tha iomadh mac aig mathair
Ach b'esan a h-aon-ghinn 's a ciad-ghinn
