Mr Robert Mackinnon, 13 Ranish, has been officially informed that his
son John has died in France, five days after being wounded in action.
John was the eldest son, and had been in France for more than a year. He
was within a month of completing his twentieth year. This adds one more
to the long list of young men belonging to this township who have
fallen in the war.
