It is with deep regret we have to record the death in action in France of Sergt Major Donald Macdonald, Camerons, 5 Balallan. The deceased was a native of Kershader and his young widow and baby boy reside with her father at 5 Balallan. Our full sympathy goes out to her in her great bereavement. It is understood the news came through a private source and is not officially confirmed.
