His brother Murdo served in the RNR, and John was in the Seaforth Highlanders. Both survived the war.

Another falls on the Tigris
Mr Angus Morrison, Dun-Carloway, has been notified that his son, Pte Neil Morrison, was killed in Mesopotamia on 22nd February [1917]. Prior to the war, Pte Morrison was serving with the colours in India. Much sympathy is felt for Mr Morrison and family.
