Stornoway Gazette
Mr Robert Morrison, 13 South Bragar, has received official notification
that his son, Pte John Morrison, Royal Scots Fusiliers, has been killed
in action. Young Morrison, who was only 19 years of age, had not been
very long at the front. Previous to his enlistment he was for a time
employed in Glasgow. He was a dutiful son, and his sorrowing parents
have the sympathy of all in the neighbourhood.
