Angus appears in the 1901 census at 4 1/2 Kirivick, aged 7, the son of Murdo (60) and Annie (47) and brother of Malcolm (16), John (13), Christy Mary (9) and Kate Ann (3).

His brother Murdo served in the Canadians and John was in the Royal Engineers. These two survived the war.
