Mr Norman Macleod, 19 Eoropie, has been informed by wire that his nephew, Corpl. Murdo Macleod, Seaforth Highlanders, son of the late Donald Macleod, Stornoway, died in France from gunshot wounds on 9th October 1917. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved relatives.
